My name is Jeremy Slaughter and I currently reside in Portland, Oregon with my partner Stephen and our 10-year old dog Gates.
I grew up in West Virginia and graduated from West Virginia University (Go Mountaineers!). After graduation, I went to South Dakota and worked on Senator Tim Johnson's campaign where we won statewide by 524 votes. Since then, I have also worked on the campaigns for Governor Tony Knowles in Alaska, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse in Rhode Island, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, the Salt Lake County (UT) Democratic Party, and a few other campaigns around the country. I also attended Grad School at the University of Utah (Go Utes!). Additionally, I served as Chairman of the LGBTQ Caucus of Young Democrats of America from 2005-2007.
I enjoy college football, traveling, hiking, reading, and keeping up on the political news of the day.
